As users are increasingly adopting privacy-preserving tools to protect their Web usage, Brave now has 36.2 million monthly active users (MAU) and 12.5 million daily active users (DAU).

November marks one year since we launched Brave 1.0, the most private, safest, and fastest (3-6x) browser. Over the past year, we’ve seen amazing growth on multiple fronts and we’re happy to celebrate Brave 1.0’s first anniversary by announcing that we officially passed 20 million monthly active users (20.5), up from 8.7 million this time last year.

This May, Brave saw its monthly active users pass the 15 million mark with 15.4 million users, a growth of 50% since the Brave 1.0 launch this past November, and of 125% or 2.25x over the past year.

Brave 1.0 was released on November 13th and received very positive press reviews, and also saw a surge in user adoption. Brave went from 8.7 million monthly active users in October to 10.4 million MAU at the end of November, a 19% increase across all platforms. This represents a doubling of Brave’s MAU in one year. Daily active users tripled this year, to 3.3 million. The Brave browser combines privacy with a blockchain-based digital advertising platform, and offers 3-6x faster browsing than other browsers.

Brave is growing on the user front, with daily active users passing the 2.8 million mark recently, and monthly active users now at 8 million. There are also over 290,000 Brave Verified Publishers.
