Brave Firewall + VPN
Brave VPN encrypts and protects anything you do online, even outside the Brave browser. On every app. On your entire device.
To get started, download and open Brave on your phone or tablet, tap Settings ("…"), and toggle on VPN.
Protect yourself from threats, on every app, everywhere
Risky public Wi-Fi? No worries. Brave VPN blocks trackers and encrypts every connection you make to the Web, on every app on your device.
Hide traffic from Internet Service Providers
Most ISPs can see what you do online, even in private / incognito windows. They can collect and sell your data. Brave VPN hides your Internet traffic from ISPs so you can browse freely.
With Brave VPN, your data is your own
Unlike other VPNs, Brave VPN doesn’t log your online activity or IP address. We can’t sell your data because we don’t collect it in the first place.
FAQs about Brave VPN
A firewall forms a secure barrier between your device (phone, tablet, or computer) and the internet—it blocks unwanted trackers, viruses, and more from your device. A virtual private network (VPN) creates a private network for you and your device, no matter how you’re accessing the internet—even on a public or non-secure Wi-Fi network. Brave VPN offers the benefits of both VPN and a firewall to protect everything you do online. It blocks unwanted surveillance with protection at the network level, on your entire device, on every app you use.

During initial setup of Brave Firewall + VPN, you will be asked to install a profile on your device. In this case the profile is just a file that contains VPN connection details.
