Brave selected as the official browser for the 2019 EAFF E-1 Football Championship (Soccer tournament) in South Korea

San Francisco – December 9, 2019 – Brave Software, makers of the innovative Brave browser which combines privacy with a blockchain-based digital advertising platform, today announced that the Brave browser was selected as the official browser for the 2019 E-1 Football(Soccer) Championship, hosted by the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) in South Korea from December 10th to 18th.

During the matches, a Brave LED board will be displayed in the stadium and special content linked to this event will be provided on the E-1 official page. Under the concept of “INNOVATION & UNITY”, EAFF is expanding its outreach from East Asia to the world. As part of this effort, Brave and EAFF formed a partnership and are launching a co-marketing campaign.

This campaign will provide a new soccer watching experience through the official Brave browser. It includes three initiatives:

 1.  “Color the Cheer.”
The LED banner provided by Brave will be placed in the stadium to support the soccer teams from 5 countries. The team which receives more votes through Brave in the first half will get the LED banner space in the second half devoted to them. During the second half, a support message will be displayed in the team’s uniform color and language. Fans who participate in the voting process will get the chance to win a soccer ball used in the tournament.

2.  “AI Match Forecast.”
Real-time win/loss prediction using AI-11 (AI ELEVEN), an AI-based win/loss prediction system, will be provided during the match in the Brave browser. During playtime we will also offer detailed team and player LIVE stats.

3. “Brave Award.”
A new award to select the most “Brave” players in the competition will be determined with online voting by Brave users. Players who get the most votes will be awarded with this distinction.

The Brave browser is an Internet browser that provides a better and faster user experience on the internet (3-6x faster than other browsers), along with privacy protection and a rewards system for its users. Brave currently has 10.4 million monthly active users all over the world and is available in 52 languages.
