Infrastructure & Partners
The site is hosted on infrastructure operated by Brave, as well as infrastructure operated by Amazon, Heroku (a Salesforce company), and Fastly on our behalf. Fastly’s infrastructure is designed to be as close to you as possible — probably in the same country as you, though this is not guaranteed. The rest of this infrastructure is located in the United States, which is where information is processed and stored.
Records for Analytics
If you ask us to keep in touch with you by email, we’ll send you updates about our work and our products. Our email infrastructure is operated by SendGrid on our behalf. Every email we send like this includes an unsubscribe link.
community.brave.com is a forum on which you may post and publicly communicate with other Brave users and community-members. If you join the forum, you are asked to provide an email address, username, and display name. We do not share your email address, but we do use it to send you updates and notifications related to your use of the forum. You can adjust this in your account preferences . All the other information you publish on the forum — like a profile image or your posts — is visible to anyone who visits the forum. You can remove this information at any time, or delete your entire forum account. Removing information you’ve published on the forum or deleting your account is permanent, but it does not remove routine records which include your IP address and are used for analytics and maintenance.
Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the website, sign up for email updates, or send Brave any other information. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has interacted with the website, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. In that case, we will do our best to remove all related records.
Whenever we make a material changes to our practices, we’ll update this policy. When this policy changes, we’ll announce it to let you know. We hope you’ll find any changes agreeable, but if you’re not comfortable with changes to the info we collect or how we use it, we understand your choice to stop using the website.
We are always interested in hearing and responding to questions and concerns at twitter.com/brave and at github.com/brave. More in-depth conversations can be had at community.brave.com . You can reach us directly at email@example.com if you’d like to know what information we have about you, or if you think we have incorrect information about you and you’d like to update it. If you are unsatisfied with the ways that we treat information about you, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
The new Brave browser blocks the ads and trackers that slow you down, chew up your bandwidth, and invade your privacy. Brave even lets you contribute to your favorite creators automatically.
